Position Title : General Manager

Immediate Supervisor: District Manager

Positions Supervising: All Store level leadership

FLSA Status: Salaried/Exempt- 45-50 hours per week

Job Description

A Life's Food General Manager is responsible for leading employee, business and brand standards at their assigned store. This position will be responsible for achieving outstanding customer and employee experiences. The General Manager directs, implements, publicizes and administers operations and human resource strategies to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and objectives within the store

Duties and Responsibilities:

      Leads store level team with the Life's Food Core Values

      Hires, onboards, trains and develops all store level personnel

      Manages the day to day operations of the store and performs weekly operational evaluations and offers daily written and face to face feedback on restaurant operations

      Insures the store is properly staffed and has a solid business plan

      Operates a profitable business by insuring the correct inventory goals and labor targets are met and all equipment and facilities are maintained in excellent condition

      Performs key duties in the kitchen during lunch and dinner shifts Monday through Sunday

      Responsible for following and promoting all company policies

      Provides leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and a commitment to company objectives


      4 year college degree preferred

      3+ years of food service management experience with a similar scope of responsibilities. Equivalent life experience will be considered

      Strong organizational and followup skills

      Written and verbal communication skills

      Business math skills

      Excellent Positive Motivational Leadership skills

      Light repairs and maintenance ability

      Computer skills with POS knowledge

      This position may require long hours of standing along with extensive lifting of supplies
